Genghis Khan

Genghis Khan is now again, the personage who gave Mongolia to the world. Hero for some, barbaric for others, the empire that Genghis Khan conquered is one of the largest in the history of the world.

From Asia to Poland via Georgia and present-day Iraq and Syria, Genghis Khan established an empire of a magnitude unparalleled. Its history and epic mark yet the collective unconscious of all the peoples conquered.

 

The symbol of Genghis Khan was set aside during the Soviet area but was retourvée since the fall of communism. It is now the name of Genghis Khan everywhere, restaurant, hotel, bar, music group ... etc. Any Mongolian society now crying out loud the name of the man bigger than the Mongols have known.
