Towns in Mongolia

Mongolia is not known (or visited) for these urban centers. The ancient culture of Mongolian nomads slowed these gatherings human very intense in its southern neighbor (China). But since the fall of communism and the advent of market economy and some harsh winters, a considerable number of mobile Mongolians just stick to the suburbs of the capital of Mongolia. The current situation is that 1 / 3 of the population of the country lives in Ulan Bator. The second largest city is Darkhan and Erdenet then, the mining town.

Apart from these three biggest human gatherings in Mongolia stick to small villages or
hamlets. They live and survive by stopping passengers for a well-deserved break.
