The south of Mongolia - the Gobi Desert

The Gobi desert covers 30% of Mongolian territory. Often thought of as a region uninhabited and without appeal, the Gobi desert has a rich ecosystem. Animals (camels, gazelles, birds, snakes, horses) and flowers coexist in harmony to make this area a wonderful place to discover. Located 600km from Ulan Bator, the vast Gobi reserve was designated in 1991 as one of the four largest biosphere of the planet.

You are invited to e-participate in an expedition memorable in this region still unexplored wilderness of Mongolia. Come discover a part of this wonderful region during your trip to Mongolia in the summer
of 2009-2010.
