Arvaïkheer city of Mongolia
With about 23 000 inhabitants, Arvaïkheer has all the infrastructure of a city Mongolian but travelers will find little of interest (especially compared with other attractions in the region) If you want to go to Karakorum or falls Orkhon, you do not need to stop in the capital of Övörkhangaï since the entire road between Ulan Bator and Kharkhorin (Karakorum) is paved and in good condition. Getting to Arvaikheer: The road between Ulan Bator and the capital of east Övörkhangai of 430km is paved and in good condition. The ride is quite fast. It is also possible to fly from the capital of Mongolia. Flights take place every week. Please ask the MIAT.
To see Arvaikheer: You can see the monastery Muntsaglan located approximately 500m north of the centrality of Arvaikheer. You can also discover the provincial museum with a selection of wildlife Gobi.
